Pastor Elder Melvin Brown Junior

A visionary whose mantra is,'Transform Mount Up!' Pastor Brown is a powerful man of God who has deemed MountainTop a place where you can be transformed. He believes it is imperative to serve God and walk  in what is His good and perfect will. This is why the vision for MountainTop Ministries is clearly and simply stated, 'Jesus Is Lord'.

Faithful to the ministry, he acknowledge his call in 1981 while a member of one of the most prolific and groundbreaking churches in Detroit; he was ordained in 1997, after serving as an associate minister for eleven years( where he exercised his gift to teach) at one of the early mega-churches in Michigan. Finally in 1998 God commissioned him to pastor, and in 2004, the doors of MountainTop Ministries International opened for its first  service.

 Pastor Brown is prophetic trailblazer who believes in practical biblical teaching. A learned man of the word, he has studied under some of the most prominent pastors in Detroit, Michigan and the surrounding area. He continues to teach and preach a very relevant word in a most simplistic way. He believes if you understand the word, your are more likely to live the word.

In August of 1990, he married the love of his life, Lady Brown, and consequently to this union two sons were born.
